Iranian animation film ‘light Sight’s has been awarded the Best Student Film at the 2017 Fine Arts Film Festival in the US.
Directed by Moslem Tabatabaee, the animation film was selected during the event organized on May 13, 2017 in Los Angeles, California.
“The animation has one character and one setting,” Tabatabaee told the media earlier on, adding, “The character tries to escape from the room to get to the light he sees outside.”
The 3D animation has already won awards at scores of international festivals.
‘Light Sight’ has previously won the best 3D animation award at the Social Machinery Film Festival in Italy in 2017.
Presented by the Venice Institute of Contemporary Art the Fine Arts Fi8lm Festival is dedicated to showing the finest films in the world.
The festival held on an annual basis is considered a premier showcase for independent films from around the world.
